The company was reformed from Shandong Linyi Pingshan Glass Factory, which was established in 1971. The factory covers an area of 1400 mu. Located at the shore of Huanghai sea, it's on the west of Lanshan Port and Shijiu Port and on the north of Lianyungang. It enjoys convenient traffic conditions with Yanshi Railway running through the factory site and Yanshi Highway only 0.5km from the factory. Now there are staff of 2,000, including professional technical staff of 260. Through years of rolling development, a multi-element management pattern has been primarily formed, including 4 bottle production workshops, 1 bottle capsule processing workshop and 3 iron ore selecting work areas, with annual output of daily use glass of 150,000 tons, counterfeit bottle capsule of 50 million and iron ore of 100,000 tons.

With the working policy of "technical innovation, quality first", the company has introduced a batch of glass kilns and bottle inspection equipment of International level, keeping high equipment and technology level in like industry in China and the product quality has been constantly improving. Yamei Brand beer bottle has been chosen as prime in random inspection of the State Quality Inspection Master Office in past years. Now there are over 1800 varieties of products including green beer bottle, top and medium grade heterotype white bottle, handmade crystal bottle, frosted bottle and stricken bottle etc., which are sold well to famous drink factories like Qingdao Beer Group, Shenzhen Jinwei Beer Company, Fujian Xuejin Beer Company, Shandong Lanling Group, Subei Gaogou, Shuanggou, Tanggou and Yanghe Company etc. and exported to Korea, Japan, Ghana, countries and regions in SEA etc.

In order to fit to development of wine packaging industry at home and abroad, the company introduced advanced technology, equipment and raw materials from abroad in 2001. Hi-tech patent aluminum-plastic Fu brand counterfeit bottle capsule is manufactured, sold together with glass bottles. The promise of "cracking down on counterfeiting offenses for wine factories" has been made, which is very much popular among consumers. In order to foster a new economic growth point, the company monopolized and began to exploit a iron ore which has been shut down for years. The alkaline full self fluxing beneficiated iron ore has become a competitive product among lots of steel groups in China. The first step in industrial structure adjustment has been taken and trans-industry management pattern has been primarily formed, during which capital for daily use glass production has been accumulated. In order to reinforce the development potential of the enterprise and further improve market competitiveness, the company invested 30 million yuan in 2005, reconstructing the No.3 workshop into the largest daily use glass kiln in China, which covers an area of 120 sq.m. Three (8 pairs) bielectron bottle production lines have been equipped, with the annual beer bottle output of 90,000 tons. The project will be put into production in April 2006, which is the first step of strengthening the enterprise.
